Methow Valley Ranger District is hating a field trip on October 1 to visit pre and post prescribed burning sites. This site visit will provide opportunities for learning more about how Fuels Specialists choose sites for treatment, and what factors are considered prior to ignition taking place.

The field trip will depart from the Methow Valley Ranger District in Winthrop at 8:00 a.m. and carpool to Eightmile to look at an area planned for prescribed burning. After moving on to a post-burn area, also near Eightmile, the group will return to the Ranger District around noon.
